A Window Into The Apocalisp
A Window Into The Apocalisp
Lycra, tent poles, granite lights, faux fur, and mixed media
48” x 48” x 192”
2009
A stalactite form made by utilizing tent architecture techniques evokes a sense of melancholic reflections by alluding to isolation, escape, and displacement. This work is comprised of domestic materials, playing on interior and exterior. The typo or a mispronunciation creates a jog in language that gives one pause and toggles between thoughts.
