A modest collection of tourist souvenirs (decorative utensils from the Philippines) is arranged in opposition to a large hand carved spork-patterned after a fast-food spork. This arrangement for the exhibition, Homing Pidgin at the DeYoung Museum investigates the relationship of the artist and artisans- specifically within tourist economies, social hierarchies, and the value of objects.
