Patterned after one of Chris Burden’s light posts entitled “Urban Light”, a permanent sculpture at LACMA. Suburban Blight is an inversion in impermanence. Inspired by the tent cities in San Bernardino County, often populated by homeless from Los Angeles county. This tent is accessible from the base and has a secret compartment on top.
